Jean-Marie Fourrier

Jean-Marie Fourrier

Jean-Marie Fourrier was well-schooled. He learned the secrets of Pinot Noir from the legendary Henry Jayer. At just 23, he took over the family domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin and took it into another dimension.

A precise, hard-working and talented winemaker, Jean-Marie Fourrier is adept at gentle extraction and delicate vinification. Very little sulfur is added, favoring protection by CO² or natural lees. The result is exceptionally pure wines that perfectly illustrate their terroirs. And at the domaine, when it comes to major terroirs, we know our stuff!

We invite you to take a stroll down memory lane from 2010 to 2017. 8 vintages, 10 exceptional wines that have reached maturity, but can obviously wait a few more years.
