    Jouveaux Alexandre

    A sunny vintage, O18 displays generous maturity without losing the tension that is characteristic of Jouveaux wines. The nose reveals ripe citrus fruits, a hint of white fruits and a touch of noble oxidation that adds complexity to the whole. The palate is full-bodied, carried by chalky acidity and pronounced minerality; the finish lingers on salt and almond notes.

This terroir enjoys a privileged location at an ideal altitude and southeast exposure on deep clay-limestone soils dotted with fine marl. This composition gives the grapes exceptional aromatic complexity and optimal ripeness, a direct legacy of the immediate proximity to the rich soils of the famous Clos Vougeot, with which it shares certain characteristics.
