Chanterêves

Chanterêves

Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott have always been passionate about wine. This shared passion brought them together in Burgundy, where they set up their small Chanterêves domaine in Savigny Lès Beaune.

From an early age, Tomoko was introduced to fine wines by her father. To the point of wanting to make it her profession. So she left Japan for Germany, where she obtained her oenology diploma and learned the subtleties of winemaking. Guillaume Bott, on the other hand, has been working in the wine industry for over twenty years. Born in Burgundy, he trained with Etienne Sauzet, then became cellar master at Simon Bize. The magic of Burgundy terroirs held no secrets for him. It was time to take the plunge.

In the end, it was a meeting with Frédéric Cossard and Philippe Pacalet, two immense figures in the natural wine world, that decided them to "turn the corner" and fully embark on the production of wines without any inputs. At first, they started slowly with a small haute couture négoce, then, in 2020, luck smiled on them.

The couple acquired 4.9 hectares of magnificent vines in Savigny Lès Beaune, Chorey les Beaune and the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. At last, the adventure can take a whole new direction!

Biodynamic in the vineyard, natural vinification in the cellar, the wines Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott create with the utmost care are just like them: discreet, delicate and full of energy. These are the authentic wines of meticulous enthusiasts who work with rigor, while never forgetting to distill a touch of poetry into their bottles.

As quantities are very limited, we limit purchases to 1 bottle per cuvée and per customer, so that as many people as possible can enjoy them.
