Roblet Monnot Pascal

Roblet Monnot Pascal

An Artist in Volnay

Pascal Roblet has been managing this micro-estate for over 20 years now. A man of conviction and choice, Pascal has been challenging traditional practices from the outset. Today, the few bottles available are sought after by lovers of deep, dense Burgundies with great aging potential. It must be said that this talented but reserved winemaker owns some very fine plots on renowned terroirs, notably Les Brouillards and, above all, the legendary Taillepieds.

The new vintage from Domaine Roblet-Monot has just arrived, and it's excellent news. It has everything that makes this iconic Volnay estate so renowned: juices of great finesse, a silky texture, and that mineral energy that is the hallmark of the village's finest terroirs.

This year marks the return of several very rare premier crus—sought-after cuvées, produced in small quantities and always eagerly awaited. Taille-Pieds, Les Brouillards, Pitures Dessus: three legendary parcels, three very pure expressions of Volnay, each with its own character and vibrancy.

The 2022 vintage confirms the estate's trajectory: precise, luminous wines, full of fruit and depth. Even the simple Volnay displays remarkable elegance, while the premier crus play in a higher dimension, between depth, tension, and refinement.

And to complete the range, the Bourgogne Aligoté Nerthus 2023 brings its incisive freshness and ultra-gourmet salinity, perfect for opening the ball.

These are beautiful, rare, highly anticipated bottles that we are delighted to offer you. If you like racy Volnays, now is the time.
