Nicole Lamarche continues her father's tradition of excellence and respect for Vosne-Romanée's prestigious terroirs.

The Côte-de-Nuits has always been the stuff of dreams for lovers of great Pinot Noir. Just a few square kilometers contain some of the finest terroirs on the planet, or at least those where Pinot Noir expresses itself with the greatest precision and delicacy. Among the many climates that make up this Côte, those of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges are among the most fascinating. But for these terroirs to express themselves with true authenticity, the winegrowers who work them must do so in the purest local tradition and with respectful methods. This is clearly the case at Domaine Lamarche.

Domaine François Lamarche, which recently became Domaine Nicole Lamarche, is, as its name suggests, run by a woman. Since François' death in 2013, his daughter, Nicole, has taken over. Owner of the famous La Grand Rue monopole, located between Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, the domaine took a qualitative turn in the early 2000s, abandoning integrated viticulture to go organic (certified since 2010).
