Domaine de Cassiopée

Domaine de Cassiopée

Youth and talent in the raw

This is the story of a couple who love fine wines and decided to make it their profession. It's the story of a journey, a passion, talents and a meeting between a terroir and attentive, meticulous human beings. Talloulah Dubourg and Hugo Mathurin are passionate about great wines, not necessarily those with glittery labels, but those that make your hair stand on end, that anchor memories in your mind and allow you to associate a moment with a sensation, a taste, an emotion.

As you know, we're always delighted to introduce you to new estates, and especially young winemakers who are just starting out. We've been waiting for a few months to be able to present the wines of this young couple, who really won us over. Theirs and their wines;

Oenologists by training, both having worked for prestigious houses - Clos de Tart and Marie-Thérèse Chappaz for Talloulah, Jean-Marc Roulot and Frédéric Mugnier for Hugo - it was in 2020 that they decided to launch their own domaine. They took up residence in Sampigny-Lès-Maranges, in the Maranges region, and named their 5-hectare paradise Domaine de Cassiopée.

Respectful and precise in their approach to viticulture and winemaking, Talloulah and Hugo produce wines that are elegant, delicate and full of energy. When we tasted their latest vintage, we were truly charmed. Unfortunately, as quantities are limited and there are more and more candidates for distribution, we can only offer you 2 cuvées at the moment, but we hope to be able to present more soon.
