Made from old vines, this wine displays dark fruit flavors (plum, blackberry) combined with a distinct freshness and polished texture, promising a beautiful balance between maturity and tension.

An intense and refined vintage: concentrated red fruits and darker tones, well-controlled aging, elegant and persistent finish, to be enjoyed after a few years of aging.

Clay-limestone terroir facing South/East (“en champs” and “billard” plots). 70% whole-cluster Pinot Noir. Cold pre-fermentation for 3 days, 15-day fermentation in stainless-steel vats, slow pressing and racking into 228L barrels. Aged 11 months.

Cuvée from the Les Boutières plot, very close to Savigny-Les-Beaune. This is a plot of 50-year-old vines which enjoys excellent southern exposure and is located 300 meters above sea level. The soil is clay over limestone.

The juice macerated on the skins for 30 long days. It was then aged in older oak barrels that had seen several wines over the years as well as in vats to preserve its freshness. The result is a fresh, elegant wine of great complexity.

This Gevrey-Chambertin village is produced on 12 parcels, a veritable mosaic of the village's soils (limestone, clay, alluvium, etc.).

With its classic style, this wine has a discreet nose of pretty black fruit (blackberries, blackcurrants) and, from the first taste, shows its true muscular, structured personality.

Sylvain Pataille's most ambitious cuvée. Old vines, whole harvest, long ageing: everything is done to produce a great wine for laying down. Concentrated, intense, almost sappy. Wait or decant for a long time.
