This elegant wine can be enjoyed young. It is said to be feminine for its finesse and freshness, but also for its soft construction and velvety texture. Although it's tempting to drink it in its 3rd or 4th year, it's best kept for 8 to 15 years.

Gros Anne€755.00Facing east, this 0.60-hectare parcel in a place called "Les Verroilles" was bought by Louis Gustave Gros in 1882. Some of the vines are over 75 years old, while others are around 50 years old. Its aromas are floral (peonies, old roses, violets...), spicy (licorice, vanilla, coriander...), fruity (raspberry, blackcurrant...), vegetal (undergrowth, menthol, tobacco, hay...), oriental (leather, musk...) and pastry-like (caramel, chocolate, toffee...).
