A rare and highly sought-after vintage, Combarnier 2019 plays the card of mineral freshness and aromatic subtlety, blending lemon, white flowers, and salinity. The palate is slender and vibrant, with a slightly oxidative sensation that adds depth without weighing down the wine; the balance of acidity and minerality leads to a long, savory finish.

A sunny vintage, O18 displays generous maturity without losing the tension that is characteristic of Jouveaux wines. The nose reveals ripe citrus fruits, a hint of white fruits and a touch of noble oxidation that adds complexity to the whole. The palate is full-bodied, carried by chalky acidity and pronounced minerality; the finish lingers on salt and almond notes.

O21 reflects a cooler year: straight structure, limestone acidity, and prominent minerality. The initial aromas range from lemongrass to wet stone, with a vibrant energy typical of the Mâconnais terroirs at Jouveaux.

Assemblage millésimes 2022-23-24

East-facing, a brown clay terroir resting on entrobic limestone (limestone containing many marine fossils). The vines are always early with good density. Direct pressing, Ceramic Clayver fermentation and 228L barrels.
