The Abbey of Bèze, the Bishopric of Autun, the Dukes of Burgundy, and many others owned vineyards in this village.

Chablis Côte aux Prêtres is a wine of great tension, whose powerful minerality is expressed by notes of iodized salt. It is a wine of great sapidity.
