Always a model of its kind. Pinots that are so complete, precise, and aromatic—with that signature delicate and persistent scent of wilted roses—are honestly very rare. Unfortunately for enthusiasts, quantities remain once again negligible.

Vinification using whole grapes, without any additives or sulphur — all signs of a deep respect for time and the raw material. Aged for 12 months + 12 months in the bottle. On the palate, it has remarkable depth: intense black fruit, wild charm and a restrained energy that speaks of patience and happiness in the bottle. A great pleasure to drink now, it also promises excellent ageing potential.

  • Persevérance et Patience 2022

La Petite Empreinte - Mélissa Bazin et Romain de Moor
    €49.00

Perseverance and Patience 2022 is a Sauvignon Blanc like no other, crafted with precision and a great deal of time.

Sourced from two plots, one of which consists of old vines planted in 1959, the grapes are harvested at peak ripeness. Part of the harvest undergoes maceration for 8 days to add body and depth, while the other is pressed immediately to preserve freshness and tension.

The wine is then aged for 24 months in barrels before the two profiles are blended, followed by an additional 7 months in tank to refine the whole. Bottling takes place in March 2025, with no added sulfites.

On the palate, this is a structured Sauvignon Blanc, with density, beautiful energy, and subtle bitter notes that lengthen the finish. A straightforward, lively wine that clearly stands out from the norm.

Limited to 2 bottles per customer

It is a wine full of strength and vitality that will need a few years to reach its full potential. The nose offers straightforward aromas of ripe red fruit, peony, violet, and red rose; the palate is chocolatey and spicy, with a long finish. A wine for aging.
