Jobard Antoine
Meursault, in the purest tradition
Following in his father's footsteps, Antoine Jobard produces classic Meursault wines, expressions of a precious terroir and symbols of the great French whites. At the head of the domaine for 10 years now, he maintains the family tradition of excellence, while adding his own discreet touch;
In the many years we've partnered Domaine Jobard, we've always appreciated their discretion, moderation and consistency, both in effort and in the quality of their wines.Antoine Jobard is one of the winemakers we really appreciate for all these qualities. He produces classic Meursault wines, expressions of a precious terroir, symbols of the great French whites. At the head of the domaine for a decade, he maintains the family tradition of excellence while adding his own discreet touch. He tends his vines like his garden and produces between 5,000 and 9,000 bottles a year.
" We've always been a bit organic without saying so, there's never been any weedkiller in our vines, we've always ploughed and there's always been grass between the rows. "
A winemaker from father to son for 5 generations, he makes wines in the purest Meursault tradition. No excessive new oak to seduce youth, no magic powder to smooth out the edges. These wines don't lie, and that's why they express their terroir so clearly, with precision, intensity and exceptional minerality. It has to be said that with the family's heritage, it would be wrong to do otherwise: Blagny, Charmes, Poruzots, Genevrières, the domaine produces wines from the appellation's finest parcels.
This week, we present the 2022 vintage. Antoine's wines are slowly beginning their long life, after a long period of ageing that has allowed them to reach their full potential. These are great, classic white Burgundies that shine with precision, density and, above all, a true terroir signature.
New releases: Pommard and Beaune, reds in the same vein!
Antoine Jobard has been wanting to get into red winemaking for some years now. He patiently waited for the right opportunity, and when some beautiful Côte de Beaune vines presented themselves to him, he jumped at it. Last year, Antoine offered us his first Pinot Noir cuvées, with a very fine Pommard. This year, it's the turn of the fine terroir of Les Epenots to make its appearance, along with a Beaune 1er Cru Les Epenottes and a very pleasant red Burgundy.
For those impatient for the corkscrew, we're talking here about wines that are quite strict in their youth, built for long ageing, with a profile that's more "framed" than "free".
Please note that certain cuvées are available in small quantities and are therefore limited. Please respect these limitations.

Beaune 1er Cru Montrevenots 2023
Jobard Antoine€69.00The Beaune 1er Cru Montrevenots 2023 comes from a superb hillside, perched at the gates of Pommard, which brings the typical airy finesse of the climate. The wine is juicy and bright, with a floral structure and a precision of texture that make it immediately appealing. Beneath its immediate charm, however, it hides real aging potential, capable of developing tension and depth over a good decade.

Pommard 1er Cru Epenots 2023
Jobard Antoine€119.00The Pommard 1er Cru Les Epenots 2023 reveals the nobility of this legendary climate: a deep, gravelly-clay terroir that always produces structured yet incredibly refined wines. The 2023 offers dense flesh, vibrant black fruit, and an almost saline finish that is the hallmark of great Pommards. The aging potential is enormous: this is clearly a wine that will develop over twenty years without batting an eyelid.

Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières 2023
Jobard Antoine€249.00Antoine Jobard's Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières 2023 draws its depth from one of the commune's greatest white terroirs, a magical hillside that always produces refined tension and incredible mineral vibrancy. It is a straightforward, finely crafted wine with an almost saline energy beneath an already ample structure. The aging potential is immense: this is a Genevrières built to last for decades.
