The new generation in power!

Claude Dugat's children have taken the family estate into a new dimension.

Claude Dugat. Some names are intimately linked with the great Burgundy. Tradition. Pinot Noir in all its complexity. Terroir. Excellence. Domaine Claude Dugat is obviously one of the great historic estates that have made our region so famous. And deservedly so.

Today, the new generation has taken over. Claude Dugat's children, Bertrand, Jeanne and Laetitia, run the estate. They have kept the best of the family tradition, while adding the necessary modern touch. Over the last few vintages, the wines have gained in finesse; ageing is less marked; good ripeness is retained, but freshness and energy are more in demand.

In recent vintages, and particularly in the 2022s we're presenting today, the results are obvious. These are great terroir wines, deep and complex, but much more accessible when young. They are more drinkable, but also more precise. Bravo for this successful qualitative shift!
