We are extremely proud today to present the latest vintage from one of Burgundy's most talented winemakers: Arnaud Lopez!

Following a sunny, intense, yet perfectly controlled 2023 vintage, Arnaud Lopez strikes again with his 2024 wines. A complete change of tone: here, there’s no overwhelming alcohol, just moderate alcohol levels (between 11 and 12%) and yet, a striking intensity. Pure energy.

We know his penchant for late harvests. Once again, the gamble pays off. The Pinots open with notes of wilted rose, graphite, warm stone… An almost tactile depth. It’s impossible not to think of Henri Frédéric Roch, so obvious, confident, and vibrant is the connection today.

From the barrel tastings in the spring of 2025, something was happening. A rare emotion. Bottling only confirmed this impression: precision, balance, length… Arnaud Lopez has now established himself among Burgundy’s greatest winemakers. He possesses that rare - almost instinctive -gift of making Pinot sing.

The 2024 vintages have just arrived at the cellar. As always, quantities are very limited, but we are fortunate to be able to offer you all 10 of these cuvées. Ten unique expressions, each with its own distinct character.

A few new releases not to be missed: CRAIES, a refined, chalky Pinot Noir from a beautiful terroir in the Mâconnais region; ROCHES, from the same soil but made with Gamay, offering a more earthy and vibrant profile; ALGOGNE, delicate and airy, driven by wild energy; SOLERA, a blend as bold as it is precise, combining 2022 Gamay and 2023 Aligoté, aged for two years to reach its peak of harmony; and finally ROSE NOAR, our little firecracker, an intense, taut saignée rosé with formidable freshness.

A vintage like no other. Lively wines. And, more than ever, the signature of a winemaker who moves forward with extraordinary sensitivity.

As usual, quantities are tiny, so we're limiting all cuvées to 1 bottle per person and 3 in total. Please respect these quotas. All double orders will be cancelled.

Originally from Nuits Saint George, where he grew up in the heart of the prestigious Côte de Nuits terroirs, Arnaud Lopez began his career as an educator. His sensitivity and resourcefulness were put to good use in the service of others. Then, at the age of 35, he decided to make a major change and returned to the vineyard. In 2007, he joined the famous Prieuré Roch estate.

After ten years pampering the beautiful plots of this legendary estate, he decided it was time to try his hand. Working with organic winegrower friends, he picked up a few pretty grapes and released his first micro-cuvées in 2018. For us, it's a revelation. The intensity of the wines is incredible! His 2019s will confirm our first impression: this boy has a special gift. In 2022, he takes the plunge, quits his salaried job and decides, at last, to take the plunge 100%, setting up his own winery in Nuits Saint George, the village of his childhood.

Arnaud Lopez's wines are deep, intense and full of a rare energy. It has to be said that Arnaud is a man of principle, who doesn't waver from any of the rules he has set for himself: all his grapes come from vines grown organically by winemakers close to him; he prunes the vines he will harvest a few months later; throughout the year, he intervenes in the management of these vines, which he monitors with a watchful eye; once the grapes have reached full maturity, he vinifies them in whole bunches, without any inputs or new wood; he favors long macerations and minimizes interventions. The result is unique wines, both dense and mineral, pleasant when young but clearly built to last.
