Dominique Lafon is one of Burgundy's leading lights. A star winemaker from Meursault with an assertive temperament, his wines are among the most sought-after nuggets on the Côte de Beaune. Unfortunately, the quantities are still tiny.

This is one of the reasons why Dominique Lafon decided to invest in the Mâconnais region in 1999, acquiring a few hectares of beautiful terroirs where he set up his own domaine: Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon. Cultivated with the same rigor as his Meursault vines, all biodynamic, his Chardonnay parcels now produce wines that are full-bodied, precise and aromatically fresh, all at very reasonable prices.
