Beneath the Corton "Bressandes" and next to the Corton "Vergennes", this shallow, east-facing limestone terroir produces early ripening. This elegant wine can be enjoyed young. It is said to be feminine for its finesse and freshness, but also for its soft construction and velvety texture. Although it's tempting to drink it in its 3rd or 4th year, it's best kept for 8 to 15 years.

Fresh fruit on the nose, full-bodied and frank on the palate, with a deep color and a finish of melted tannins. Fifteen months of ageing have given it a strong character.

High-altitude Chardonnay (360 m in Arcenant), biodynamically farmed and aged for 18 months in old barrels without additives.

Energetic on the palate, with slightly toasted floral notes and a very distinct salty finish.

A taut, precise white wine, to be decanted young or kept for a few years.

"In 2020 we did a test with a 2 year maceration of chardonnay to see the flow of the wine with quit long maceration. This is something we do by feeling, curiosity and testing to see what will be the right amount of time. That’s why we decided the last 2 years to have a bit longer maceration for Aptemiz. For 23 it turned out the magical 10 months. The grapes where destemmed by hand on a wooden board and after vinified and aged on amphora." Production of just 670 bottles

This Gevrey-Chambertin village is produced on 12 parcels, a veritable mosaic of the village's soils (limestone, clay, alluvium, etc.).
