A rare and highly sought-after vintage, Combarnier 2019 plays the card of mineral freshness and aromatic subtlety, blending lemon, white flowers, and salinity. The palate is slender and vibrant, with a slightly oxidative sensation that adds depth without weighing down the wine; the balance of acidity and minerality leads to a long, savory finish.

Superb, fruity, fresh Auvergne Gamay in the style of François. Pure, unadorned. A summer wine to drink without thirst, with friends. Pure pleasure.

Limited to 3 bottles max per person

South/East-facing terroir, on a soil composed of lava (a thin layer of limestone), marl and limestone with entroques. On the same line as Pernands Vergelesses 1 er cru “Les Caradeux”. 75% whole-cluster Pinot Noir. Cold pre-fermentation for 3 days, 15-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks, slow pressing and racking into 228-liter barrels. Aged 11 months.
