Located in Meursault, under the Route D 974, this 45-year-old vineyard planted with the great forgotten grape variety Aligoté produces a rich, pleasurable wine for its appellation level.

Terroir in the village of Comblanchien, composed of Bathonian limestone. 80% whole-cluster Pinot Noir. Cold pre-fermentation for 3 days, 15-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks, slow pressing and racking into 228-liter barrels. Aged 11 months.

Not a thirst-quenching rosé. A winemaker's rosé. At François Grangé, nothing is done lightly. This press rosé, made from Pinot noir grapes, is vinified with the same care as a white or a terroir-based red. The result is a wine that is straightforward, taut and precise. The freshness is natural, the fruit is fine, and the balance just right. No artifice. Just grapes, hard work and good Burgundian sense.

No added sulfites (or other inputs) from harvest to bottling.

BOURGOGNE PINOT NOIR "L'Origine", the only original family plot, was the vineyard where it all began for Clair Obscur. It was in 2006 that the opportunity arose to take over its cultivation and, at the same time, to begin vinification without sulfur.
