2009 sweet wine, aged 8 years in barrel + 6 years in bottle

This is the most southerly white in the Côte d'Or. Lots of finesse and tension. The stony soil gives it a mineral, saline character. Good length.

Nose of black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant, sloe), fresh, clean mouth, brilliant color, precise finish. Fifteen months' ageing in oak barrels have softened the tannins and produced a pleasant suavity.

Limited to 2 bottles per person

Old vines from Comblanchien (over 60 years old), whole harvest, aged for 18 months without intervention.
Black fruits, kirsch, spices, fine tannins and depth typical of the Côte de Nuits. A structured but vibrant red, to drink now or lay down.

This cuvée comes from the "Robinetes" plot located in the commune of Treigny. Mass selection of Chardonnay planted in 2020 at a density of 4,500 vines/ha and covering an area of 0.75 ha. It is planted on a clay-limestone hillside with a small proportion of marl. Subsoil from the Portlandian period.

South/East-facing terroir, on a soil composed of lava (a thin layer of limestone), marl and limestone with entroques. On the same line as Pernands Vergelesses 1 er cru “Les Caradeux”. 75% whole-cluster Pinot Noir. Cold pre-fermentation for 3 days, 15-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks, slow pressing and racking into 228-liter barrels. Aged 11 months.
